The Advising and Learning Commons provides all Prescott College students with opportunities for an enhanced learning experience by offering a variety of advising and academic support services to assist them in their pursuit of success as independent learners and self-advocates.
The Advising and Learning Commons offers the following services:
Faculty Advising - Our world-renowned faculty advisors, with the support of our professional advisors, help you maximize your Prescott College academic experience. Advisors help identify curricular, co-curricular and global learning opportunities. During these advising consultations, our advisors help students to personalize their degree plan and meet their academic and professional goals.
Career Services - Our Career Services provides our students and alumni with job search tools and techniques, in order for them to excel in today’s highly competitive job market. Students work with Career Services within the core curriculum and through one-on-one appointments in order to assist with internship and job placement as well as graduate school resources and assistance.
Writing Center- Peer writing tutors provide individual conferences for students working at any stage of their writing process. In-person peer-tutors hold regular, weekly hours on the first floor of the Library. All Prescott College students have access to professional writing tutors through email@example.com. Access and Disability Support Services- The Advising and Learning Commons is the designated office for implementing the appropriate provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 by coordinating reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities.
